Manchester United Football Club

I am a big soccer fan and I support Manchester United. We have a social club and we travel over to Old Trafford four to five times a year to see them playing football. We leave Enniscorthy on Friday morning at 8 o'clock to get the ferry in Rosslare Harbour. We get on the boat at 9 o'clock as it leaves at half past nine to go to England. It takes about one and a half hours to get there. When we arrive in England we get off the boat and get on a bus to go to Old Trafford. We arrive there at 1 o'clock and then we book into a hotel for two night's bed and breakfast.

On Saturday morning we walk to the ground and go into the pitch. We are shown around the trophy room, as we are members of the club. The match starts at 3 o'clock. We are playing Liverpool and we beat them three goals to two. We leave the grounds and go to a pub for a few drinks and then we go back to the hotel and watch T.V. for a while and go to bed.

We get up on Sunday morning and go to get the boat to Rosslare. When we get off the boat we get a bus to Enniscorthy. I think that Wayne Rooney is the best player Man. United has got. We won the league last year and to the final of the F.A.Cup. We were beaten by Arsenal in the final. We are doing very well again this year and I hope we win the league. I collect Manchester United jerseys, scarfs and hats and I hang them all over the walls in my bedroom and I cherish them very much.
